Terms of service

1. Who we are

SQE1 Ready is operated by [Company name to be supplied], [Company number to be supplied], [Registered address to be supplied]. These terms govern your use of the website and the learning platform. You can reach us at support@sqepractice.co.uk, and we aim to reply within two working days.

2. The service

SQE1 Ready is an independent examination preparation product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Solicitors Regulation Authority or any official assessment provider. Content is written to reflect the published assessment specification but is not official examination material. Use of the service does not guarantee any result.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• One account is for one person. Sharing access may lead to suspension.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

A monthly or quarterly plan renews automatically at the same price until you cancel, and each renewal is taken on the same day of the billing cycle. We email a receipt every time. Cancel from your account page and no further payment is taken. A fixed-period plan does not renew: access ends on the date shown when you bought it.

If we change the price of a recurring plan we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refund arrangements are set out in the Refunds policy.

6. Content and intellectual property

All questions, explanations, knowledge material and software are owned by [Company name to be supplied] or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal exam preparation only. Copying, scraping or redistributing content is not permitted.

7. Accuracy

We take care to keep content accurate and current, and we welcome reports of errors through the report function. Examination rules, dates and fees change; the official body remains the authoritative source.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the product before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If something has gone wrong, please use the complaints procedure first: it is quicker for both of us.
